According to the Gosstandart, today the NAS of Belarus is engaged in the creation of highly efficient electric energy storage devices. Scientific research is being conducted on the use of solar energy, wood and plant biomass, and the technical, technological, economic and environmental possibilities of using agricultural waste to produce biogas for supply to gas distribution networks of the country are being investigated.

The topic of using renewable energy sources is included in the programs of events of various levels held in our country.
