New green electricity tariffs approved for private households
From December 22, new green electricity tariffs for private households began to operate in Ukraine. Tariffs are approved by the resolution National comission on energy and tariffs regulation dated September 28, 2018 No. 1125, which entered into force today, December 22, writes YURLIGA.

At the same time, Resolution No. 556, which, from October 12, lowered green tariffs, is canceled, and Resolution No. 359, which has been in effect since June 24, is canceled.

The following tariffs are established for private households that produce electricity from solar energy by objects with a capacity of not more than 30 kW:

from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019 - 594.86 cop / kW • h (excluding VAT);
from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024 - 534.67 cop / kW • hour (excluding VAT);
from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029 - 476.25 copecks / kWh (excluding VAT).
For private households producing electricity from wind energy objects with a capacity of not more than 30 kW, the following tariffs are set:

from July 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019 - 382.41 cop / kW • hour (excluding VAT);
from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024 - 343.46 cop / kW • h (excluding VAT);
from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029 - 306.28 cop / kW • h (excluding VAT).
The "green" tariff is the price per kilowatt hour, at which the state is obliged to buy electricity generated from renewable sources (solar, wind power stations). The tariff is valid from 2009. From 2015 to 2030, its value is legally pegged to the euro. From 2017 to 2019, one kilowatt hour of electricity from private SES is estimated at € 0.18, from 2020 to 2024 - € 0.16, and from 2025 to 2030 - € 0.14.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainians began to earn on household solar power plants.

According to experts, the increase of 2-3 GW of electricity from renewable sources in the power system of Ukraine until 2025 will allow an annual saving of 300 million euros and ensure the stability of electricity supply.
