Successful Launch of "Invest Lithuania Networking Meeting", TEEMA Hopes to Boost Economic Cooperation with Lithuania

To better assist TEEMA’s membersin obtaining a more thorough understanding of the investment environment and business opportunities in Lithuania, under the support from Richard Huang, Assistant Director-General, Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, TEEMA held “Invest Lithuania Networking Meeting” on February 22nd, 2022. TEEMA invited Laisvis Makulis, Vice President of Invest Lithuania to share the investment environment, business opportunities and laser industry in Lithuania.
Prestigious guests in this meeting include Winner Yu, Managing Director of Board(TEEMA); Laisvis Makulis, Vice President of Invest Lithuania and Richard Huang, Ass istant Director-Gener a l, Department of European Affairs, Ministr y of Foreign Affairs. Participants in this meeting include companies such as Photic Electronics, Kenmec, AcBel Polytech, Alinc Taiwan, Titan Electro-Optics, V & C Health Tech, Printec Circuit Electronic, Weintek, Sun Luck Electrical Equipment and Findinno Corporation. Winner Yu mentioned in his opening remark that Lithuania has potential business opportunities, for example, Lithuania is one of the global leaders in laser technology, Lithuania exports more than 90 percent of its laser production to about 100 countries and regions, today’s event will promote the investment and trade relationship between Taiwan and Lithuania, this is an extremely important step to Taiwan- Lithuania supply chain cooperation, TEEMA will continue to serve as a platform connecting Taiwan and foreign companies, assisting member manufacturers to expand their sales in overseas markets, TEEMA will organize a delegation to Europe after the COVID-19 pandemic and visit Lithuania.
Laisvis Makulis, Vice President of Invest Lithuania said that Invest Lithuania is the official agency for Foreign Direct Investment and Business Development under the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, Invest Lithuania’s team works with more than 100 international companies, and already created 25,000 jobs in Lithuania, he was a witness of their success story.
