Japanese Government Plans to Initiate Carbon Capture and Storage by 2030
To better assist TEEMA’s members to expand more business opportunities in overseas markets in the post-pandemic era, TEEMA and Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs held "Taiwan-Hungary EV Industry Business Cooperation Webinar" on January 25th, 2022. TEEMA invited Taiwan’s electric vehicle manufacturers such as Master Transportation Bus Manufacturing, Photic Electronics, Whetron, Wibase and Arcadyan to engage in online interaction with Hungarian manufacturers such as Simon kft and Sheldon Invest kft, as recommended by Taipei Representative Office in Hungary and MAGE(The Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry).
According to MAGE’s official data, MAGE stresses on the production of vehicles, engines, tools, body panels, automotive electronics sub-assemblies, air-suspension systems, heating-cooling pipes, fuel hoses, moulded automotive couplings(connectors), fuel-calibrating system elements, steering wheels, SRS systems, gas generators, safety belts, child protection systems, clutches and several other components in Hungary. MAGE members account for 80% in total production and 90% in R&D investment value(research and development) in the Hungarian automotive industry.
Prestigious guests in this meeting include Winner Yu, Managing Director of Board(TEEMA); Csaba Kilián, CEO of MAGE; Liu, Shih-Chung, Representative of Taipei Representative Office, Budapest, Hungary, Daniel Csaba Lorincz, Representative of Hungarian Trade Office, Taipei; Leticia P.C. Kuan, Director of Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Winner Yu mentioned in his opening remark that Taiwanese manufacturers are equipped with the system design and manufacturing capabilities of key components for different electric vehicles, and can provide solutions to the supply chain at various stages. In order to facilitate the continual exchange and cooperation between two countries, with the support and assistance from the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taipei Representative Office in Hungary, TEEMA invites our members to engage in dialogues with companies of MAGE, aiming to form bilateral economic and trade partnerships. This meeting focuses on strengthening Taiwan-Hungary economic partnership, promoting exchanges in the electric vehicle industry, deepening ties between Taiwan and Hungary; Csaba Kilián, CEO of MAGE mentioned that “Automotive Hungary Exhibition” will be held on May 10th 2022, TEEMA members are welcome to join this grand event. Automotive Hungary exhibition as a meeting forum for the stakeholders of the Hungarian automotive industry: car manufacturers, suppliers as well as small and medium enterprises, the event is dedicated to showcasing the latest technologies and trends.
